Help save the once-widespread British dormouse, Muscardinus avellanarius, from the brink of extinction.
You can join the survey by identifying woods where the British dormouse lives, to help save this native species.
British dormice are small honey-coloured nocturnal mice whose favourite food is hazelnuts. They gnaw nutshells and leave distinctive tooth marks in a neat round hole on one side of the nut.
Look out for gnawed nuts in woodland areas and report your findings so that conservation experts can make plans to conserve the British dormouse.
